As Creative Director and co-founder of the Black and African Solidarity Show (B.A.S.S.), Feven is passionate about community outreach through cultural events, with a focus on African Diasporic peoples and experiences. Their work develops transcultural connections through the curation of inclusive event spaces both in London and Berlin. Since beginning their work as a curator and event organiser, Feven has spent the past 5 years dedicating their self to finding ways of creating free and accessible events that uplift the work of Black creatives. As a Performance artist and workshop facilitator in hula-hoop dance, they have developed a storytelling style that melds flow movement with spoken word poetry. Feven is in their final year of studying African Studies and Social Anthropology BA at SOAS, University of London.
